With a sharper focus on story development and peer fellowship, UnR5 is introducing genre workshops in fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry and playwriting. The 10-week programme seeks 15 cohort members who will jointly explore KL in the first half of the programme and then convene in smaller genre workshops in the second half.

UnR5's genre workshops are for participants to flesh out their own works, building on their observations from the exploratory phase. Each workshop will be led by facilitators with experience in the genre and interest to journey alongside the participants.
