Applications for UnR5 open now!
Through writing walkabouts and genre workshops in fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry and playwriting, UnR5 participants will generate new writing that elevates the collective conscience, and have fun in the process.
UnR AT A GLANCE
Since 2014, UnRepresented: KL (“UnR”) has brought together writers with the curiosity and keenness to explore various unrepresented narratives within the city's physical and social boundaries.
UnR is a ten-week programme featuring genre workshops in fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry and playwriting. Applications are currently open for UnR5, a cohort of 15 writers who will jointly explore KL in the first half of the programme and then convene in smaller groups for genre workshops during the second half.
Who Should Apply?
UnR welcomes writers who are serious about improving their craft with the discipline, vulnerability and exposure to critique which the programme involves. Previous writing experience is not a must.
